HRT if Mom had cancer?

I am only 32 years old and am possibly having a Total Hysterectomy including Ovaries. I don't want to go into menopause at this age because I know there are health risk, but I feel the surgery is needed. My mom had cancer so I am at an increased risk for it. So would I be able to take HRT if I do have my ovaries removed? Would it be much different than actually keeping the ovaries and my natural hormones? I will discuss this with my Dr, but I am trying to make a decision before I go back to see him next week and I don't want to increase my risk of cancer. Thank you for your help!
