Why doesn't anyone have respect for the Dallas Mavericks anymore?

They have a great record in the west, 3rd place. they're a great team, last year they almost broke michael jordan's record of 72 games by winning 67 games in the regular season. The spurs didn't do that nor the suns or the celtics either. Just because they lost to golden state doesn't make them a bad team, You guys have to realize the Warriors coach (don nelson) is Dirk's and Nash's old coach he's the one that made them superstars, if it wasn't for him the warriors would still be a sucky team. Dallas already played GSW this season and they won so they figured out how to beat them once again, so what's the problem now?
