Why were Lily, James, Sirius & Remus able to disappear after Harry dropped the stone?

I think that's right...I mean his intentions of saving everyone and sacrificing himself were much more selfless than the brother's trying to bring back his dead fiance. He wanted her totally back, alive and in person. All Harry was needing was guidance for a few moments.
